Built-in or freestanding?
The first question for every new kitchen: do you go for fully built-in appliances, or leave a few standing free? Built-in gives a calm look — everything in one line, the oven in the cabinet wall, the hood tucked behind a front. A design that still feels timeless five years from now.
Freestanding appliances — a range cooker, a retro fridge, a Quooker as eye-catcher — bring personality and are easier to swap if your taste changes. Most kitchens we install mix both: built-in oven and microwave, free-standing espresso or mixer on the worktop.
Start with how you cook, not which brand.
Which appliances do you use often, which once a month? A frequent cook benefits more from a second oven or steam oven than from a wine cabinet. Someone who cooks for large groups wants a generous hood. That's the first filter — not price, not brand.
Then move to brand and model. Bosch, Siemens, AEG and Miele all deliver quality; the difference is in the detail — controls, design, warranty. We don't push sales: come by, compare a Bosch oven next to a Miele in the same kitchen, and pick what fits your budget and your kitchen. For Curaçao specifically we look at salt resistance and service options — appliances that need to run here for five years, not five months.
