Renovation plan

One renovation, three sister stores, one team.

A kitchen rarely lives alone. Tiles, splashback and sometimes a bathroom move with it. The Outlet family brings those disciplines together so one team plans, orders and installs the whole renovation.

  • 12 to 14 weeks total
  • Three disciplines, one planning
  • Local advisors, German production

Seven steps from intake to handover.

Plan structured around one rule: every discipline starts when the previous one finishes, so no team waits on another.

  1. Step 1: Week 1

    Renovation inventory

Before we start, we map out what is being renovated and in what order. A kitchen is rarely replaced in isolation. Tiles, splashback or even the bathroom often move in the same project.

    • Which rooms are you tackling (kitchen, floor, bathroom)?
    • What is your indicative budget per component?
    • What deadline do you have (move, birthday, project)?
    • What stays and what goes?
  2. Step 2: Week 1 to 2

Showroom tour across the three sister stores

Materials are not chosen from a screen. In one afternoon you walk through Keukenoutlet, Tegeloutlet and (optionally) Sani-outlet. Same approach, same people, three disciplines that become one project.

    • Keukenoutlet: cabinets, fronts, worktop and appliances
    • Tegeloutlet: floor tiles, splashback and wall finishing
    • Sani-outlet: sanitary and bathroom finishing if included
    • Advisors coordinate so colour and style choices line up
  3. Step 3: Week 2 to 3

    3D design with cross-room coordination

We draw your new kitchen in 3D. In the same session we look at which tiles go under it, how the splashback meets the cabinets, and (if included) how the bathroom matches in palette. One design vision across the whole renovation.

    • 3D render of the kitchen using the materials you saw in the showroom
    • Tile samples next to the kitchen fronts to verify colour match
    • Connection details: skirting, corners, splashback transition
    • Concrete final quote with all disciplines together
  4. Step 4: Week 3

    Final materials list and ordering

One approval moment, one order. No back-and-forth with three suppliers each running their own timeline. We coordinate between Germany, European tile suppliers and local stock.

    • Kitchen fronts and cabinets ordered from Germany
    • Tiles from local Tegeloutlet stock or European order series
    • Sanitary via Sani-outlet stock or special order
    • Single planning overview with every delivery date on one page
  5. Step 5: Week 4 to 11

Production in Germany and shipping to Curaçao

While your kitchen is produced in Westphalia, we arrange the tile work and (if applicable) the demolition of the old bathroom. Six to eight weeks do not get lost in waiting.

    • Kitchen production: six to eight weeks in the German factory
    • Tiles laid in advance once the kitchen timeline is clear
    • Container shipping to Curaçao: two to three weeks
    • Progress update every two weeks via WhatsApp or email
  6. Step 6: Week 11 to 12

    On-site preparation and connections

Before the kitchen arrives, the room is ready. Tile floor is laid, plumbing is in the right place, electrical is set for induction and extraction. This part we coordinate with our fixed installation partner.

    • Tile floor and splashback ready for the kitchen
    • Water, gas and electrical drawn per plan
    • Kitchen acclimatises 48 hours in the home before installation
    • Final delivery check against the packing list
  7. Step 7: Week 12 to 14

Installation in the right order and handover

Installation takes four to five working days. We work in the right discipline order so no trade is waiting on another. Handover round at the end with checklist and warranty papers.

    • Days one and two: cabinets, fronts and worktop
    • Day three: appliances connected and tested
    • Day four: trim work, sealing and final inspection
    • Handover round with checklist, warranties and care tips
